ISTE Students Chapter (WB – 08)

Bengal Institute of Technology & Management, Santiniketan Students Chapter of
the Indian Society for Technical Education was founded on 29th June’
2009. The Chapter consists of 94 student members and 25 Life members from all
the engineering departments.
The goals of our chapter are to:
- Familiarize students with ISTE and encourage registration and
participation in ISTE activities.
- Increase awareness of the recent advances and discoveries in engineering
and technology.
- Increase awareness of career opportunities in the engineering and
enhance professional development.
- Enrich the academic experience of its members.
The chapter welcomes all engineering fellows at BITM that have an interest in
engineering research to become members.
